The latest options expiration data from WEEX indicates a substantial activity in the market. In total, 23,000 Bitcoin options and 175,000 Ethereum options expired this week.

The nominal value of these expiring options was significant, standing at approximately $1.74 billion for Bitcoin and $400 million for Ethereum. These numbers highlight the sizeable interest in options trading within the cryptocurrency market.

Market volatility and sentiment also played a crucial role this week, with short-term risk-reward ratios decreasing and implied volatilities falling below 40% for Bitcoin's main term options and below 50% for Ethereum's short-term IV. This decrease in volatility is consistent with market consolidation patterns.
