Representative Barry Moore has secured victory in the Republican primary runoff for an Alabama Senate seat, defeating candidate Jared Hudson.

The win is a significant milestone for the crypto industry's political ambitions and marks the first time that Fairshake, a U.S. crypto industry Super PAC, has spent over $12 million on a single campaign.

Fairshake emphasized in a statement that it has successfully placed another pro-innovation advocate in the Senate and is positioned to build what it calls the largest pro-crypto caucus in history with its approximately $150 million war chest.

Moore's campaign also received the endorsement of former President Donald Trump, adding momentum to his bid.
