Retail Traders Ready to Buy Bitcoin Despite Price Drop
The cryptocurrency market is known for its volatility, and retail traders are no exception when it comes to navigating price fluctuations. A recent poll conducted on Stocktwits shows that a significant majority of retail traders are prepared to buy more Bitcoin if the price falls by another 20%.
According to the results, around 60% of respondents said they would be ready to buy more Bitcoin at the lower price point. In contrast, about 24% said they would either panic-sell or trim their holdings, while a smaller percentage (17%) plan to hold onto their stash.
The poll's findings come as Bitcoin's price has been range-bound over the last two weeks and has fallen 12% in the past week. The cryptocurrency is currently trading at around $67,600, which is significantly lower than its record high of nearly $200,000 set in October.
