US Senators Push Forward with Mined in America Act

The Mined in America Act has been proposed by U.S. Senators Bill Cassidy and Cynthia Lummis, with the goal of establishing a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve (SBR) and promoting BTC mining within the country. The bill aims to create a regulatory-friendly environment for miners, which is expected to bring digital infrastructure to the U.S.

The Mined in America Act also includes provisions for a voluntary 'Mined in America' certification, which would direct the Commerce Department to establish a program for crypto mining facilities and mining pools. Additionally, the bill proposes phasing out foreign adversary-linked mining hardware and supporting domestic manufacturing of mining hardware.
