Tapp Exchange Announces Gradual Shutdown on Aptos
Tapp Exchange, a pioneering decentralized exchange (DEX) on the Aptos blockchain, has announced its plans to shut down gradually. According to an official statement, the protocol will remain fully available until May 31, 2026, allowing users to withdraw their assets at any time. This decision marks the end of an era for Tapp Exchange, which launched in June 2025 as the first V4 style DEX on Aptos.
During its operational period, Tapp introduced several groundbreaking features, including the ve(3,3) voting mechanism, emission distribution, bribery infrastructure, and governance tools. These innovations transferred liquidity decision-making power to veTAPP holders, providing a unique and decentralized experience for users.
