Crypto Options Worth $2.51 Billion Expire Today

A total of approximately $2.51 billion worth of crypto options are set to expire today, according to Bitget.

The majority of these options, totaling $22.3 billion in notional value, belong to Bitcoin, with a put/call ratio of 0.68 and a max pain price of $66,000.

Ethereum options, valued at $2.91 billion, have a put/call ratio of 0.62 and a max pain price of $1,750.

Despite recent market volatility, both Bitcoin and Ethereum are currently trading above their respective max pain prices before expiry, indicating that the positions for both assets still tilt towards call options.
