Bitmine Surpasses 5 Million ETH Holdings Amid Crypto and Cash Accumulation

Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) has made significant strides in its Ethereum treasury strategy, announcing that its ETH holdings have reached 5.78 million tokens. This represents a substantial portion of the total ETH supply of 120.7 million.

The company's total crypto and cash holdings now stand at $11.5 billion, with $385 million held in cash and marketable securities. Bitmine has been actively repurchasing its common stock under a $4 billion share repurchase program, purchasing approximately 5.5 million shares in the past week.

The company's Chairman, Thomas 'Tom' Lee, stated that the purchase of these shares is accretive to shareholder value. Bitmine's staking operations have also been successful, with 4,917,189 ETH staked on its MAVAN platform representing $9.2 billion at a price of $1,879 per ETH.
