Former high-profile legal, policy, and product executives at OKX have introduced Shredpay, a platform connecting users with decentralized finance (DeFi) services.

The founding team includes CEO Mauricio Beugelmans, former chief legal officer at OKX; president Melissa Muehlfeld, ex-OKX global general counsel; and CTO Peter Chang, the former VP of product at OKX.

Decentralized finance remains a complex proposition for many users due to its segmented market offerings and lack of transparent risk information. Shredpay aims to address this challenge by providing an easily accessible onchain finance platform with clear risk ratings for DeFi protocols.
