Shiba Eternity and Metaverse Pause Hints at Major Updates Ahead for SHIB Projects

Mazrael, a Shiba Inu community veteran and game advisor for Shiba Eternity, hinted at major updates ahead for SHIB projects. In a recent X conversation, Mazrael mentioned that the Shiba Eternity game and Shiba Inu metaverse, a virtual world backed by the Shiba Inu ecosystem, have been temporarily paused.

Mazrael stated that both projects have 'much updates' ready for their relaunch, but did not provide a specific timeline. The temporary pause was mentioned in response to an X user asking if Shiba Eternity was now online.

Shiba Eternity originally launched in October 2022 as a free-to-play mobile collectible card game. Following its success, the Shiba Inu team began building and testing a Play-to-Earn (P2E) Web3 version of the game on the Shibarium network. Closed beta testing of the Shiba Eternity Web3 Beta progressed in Q3 through Q4 2024.
