Trader Turns $2,330 into $614,500 with Early Bet on Solana Memecoin

A cryptocurrency trader has made an astonishing profit of over $600,000 in just hours by investing $2,330 in the Solana-based memecoin ANSEM. The trader purchased 14.2 million ANSEM tokens when their market capitalization was still relatively small and then sold 4.2 million tokens for a significant gain.

The surge in value of ANSEM was largely fueled by social media momentum surrounding crypto influencer Ansem, who publicly criticized Solana token launchpad Pump.fun over its handling of user rewards. This criticism sparked a wave of speculative buying that pushed the token's market capitalization from low millions to over $55 million.

The trader took profits while retaining a significant position in ANSEM, with around 70% of their original holdings still held. The success comes amid continued demand for Solana memecoins, which can attract rapid speculative interest and generate outsized gains in a short period.
