Polygon Sets New Stablecoin Volume Record, Overtakes Solana and BNB Chain

Polygon has solidified its position as the leading blockchain for stablecoin transactions, processing $79.25 billion in May and surpassing both Solana and BNB Chain in transaction count.

The network's cumulative stablecoin transfer volume has now exceeded $2.4 trillion, with a record 198 million stablecoin transactions in the month.

Polygon's focus on payments infrastructure has been paying off, with an average transaction fee of just $0.002 and settlement times averaging two seconds.
