Morgan Stanley Expands Digital Asset Offerings Amid Growing Institutional Interest
Morgan Stanley has announced plans to expand its digital asset offerings, including the launch of funds tied to Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. The bank's global investment committee has suggested that clients may allocate between 2.1% and 4.1% of their portfolios to digital assets.
The move is seen as a significant step towards mainstream acceptance of cryptocurrencies by traditional financial institutions. Morgan Stanley has been at the forefront of this trend, having allowed advisors to offer US spot Bitcoin ETFs to clients since 2024.
