CZ Forecasts Crypto to Become Invisible in Daily Life by 2031

Crypto enthusiasts and experts are abuzz with predictions about the future of digital assets. Changpeng Zhao (CZ), co-founder of Binance, has weighed in on the topic, forecasting that cryptocurrency will become an invisible part of daily life by 2031.

In an interview, CZ expressed his desire for blockchain and cryptocurrencies to blend seamlessly into people's lives, much like the internet. He believes that as more applications and improvements emerge, the hype surrounding crypto will fade, and it will become a ubiquitous tool used by everyone without any fanfare.

CZ hopes that in five years, people will stop referring to cryptocurrency as 'crypto' and instead use it as an integral part of their daily lives. He drew parallels with the internet, which was once a new and exciting technology but is now taken for granted. Just like TCP/IP, HTML, and JavaScript are no longer discussed as separate entities, CZ predicts that crypto will become invisible in daily life.

This vision of a crypto-integrated future is shared by others in the industry. According to a January analysis by Cathie Wood of ARK Invest, the digital assets market could reach $28 trillion by 2030. Even Tether co-founder Reeve Collins has predicted that all currencies will transform into stablecoins within the same timeframe.

CZ also highlighted the potential for AI to drive the adoption and growth of blockchain technology. As more applications emerge, it is likely that the industry will continue to grow, leading to increased mainstream acceptance of digital assets.
