Despite this, estimates suggest that lawmakers and industry participants are around 80-85% aligned on the core elements of the bill, with most disagreements centered around ethics and conflict-of-interest rules governing government officials involved in crypto-related business activities.
Cynthia Lummis has expressed optimism that a Senate floor vote could occur before the August recess, while others have pushed for passage by July 4.
