Veteran Trader's $472,000 Loss Raises Concerns About Crypto Token Stability
A recent trading experience has left many in the crypto community concerned about the stability of certain tokens and their supporting infrastructure. Corus, a seasoned trader with experience in blockchain hacking, made significant investments in ZRO, buying nearly 1 million tokens at $2.08 just three weeks ago.
However, the value of ZRO has plummeted since then, and Corus was forced to sell his holdings back at $1.61, resulting in a substantial loss. While the free airdrop provided some relief, the extent of the damage is still significant, with estimated losses totaling nearly half a million dollars.
The incident is particularly worrying because of LayerZero's support for 758 OFT tokens across 56 different networks. The stakeholders behind these projects have yet to provide clear responses, choosing instead to 'pause' their operations. This lack of transparency and action has raised concerns that the ZRO storm may be just beginning.
