TravelUp, a prominent global travel agency, has made headlines with its latest move: partnering with CoinGate to introduce cryptocurrency payments as an option for customers worldwide. This strategic partnership aims to cater to the growing demand for fast, borderless payment methods, particularly among digital-first buyers.

The integration enables customers to select their preferred travel service at TravelUp, choose 'Pay with Crypto' at checkout, and complete the transaction directly through CoinGate. This move eliminates many of the traditional barriers associated with cross-border payments, including card restrictions, fees, and settlement delays.

According to Vilius Semėnas, Chief Executive Officer of CoinGate, this partnership brings convenience to travel, where speed and flexibility often matter most. The integration supports widely used digital currencies across major networks, including BTC, ETH, SOL, LTC, and USDC, with Layer-2 coverage on Ethereum and Solana networks enabling faster and more affordable settlement.
