Kraken Expands Blockchain Infrastructure with Franklin Templeton Partnership

A major player in the cryptocurrency space has joined forces with a leading asset manager to push the development of tokenized financial products.

Kraken, alongside Payward and Franklin Templeton, is working towards a model of finance where traditional assets and digital infrastructure are no longer distinct. This collaboration aims to combine Franklin Templeton's asset management capabilities with Payward's crypto exchange, custody, and blockchain infrastructure services.

The partnership will focus on tokenized equities, digital custody services, institutional liquidity access, and blockchain-based yield products initially aimed at institutional investors.
