TeraWulf Announces Eastern Kentucky Data Center Expansion Plans

TeraWulf Inc., a leading bitcoin mining company, has made significant strides in expanding its operations in eastern Kentucky. The company has acquired approximately 300 acres within the East Park industrial site to establish the Muskie Data Campus, a hyperscale high-performance computing development site.

The Muskie Data Campus is expected to support over one gigawatt of power by the end of 2030, with an initial 500 megawatts set to come online in 2028. This ambitious project demonstrates TeraWulf's commitment to investing in the region and creating long-term economic growth.

The data center will be powered by a new high-performance computing development site that includes a 345-kilovolt substation connected to the existing 765-kilovolt transmission network. This infrastructure upgrade will provide redundant, utility-scale power to support the full one-gigawatt campus.
