Collins' Bitcoin Fortune Revived as 1,500 BTC Move from Dormant Addresses

Irish drug trafficker Clifton Collins' Bitcoin stash has come back to life after years of dormancy. According to blockchain tracking platform Arkham, an address linked to Collins transferred 500 BTC to Coinbase Prime in April, worth approximately $30.76 million at the time.

This was followed by another transfer of 500 BTC in May and now a third transfer of 500 BTC has been sent from addresses linked to the Irish police to Coinbase Prime.

The current market value of these transfers is estimated to be around $277.16 million, with Collins' address still holding an additional 4,500 BTC.

Collins was arrested on drug trafficking charges and had claimed to have lost his private keys, leading many to believe the Bitcoins were 'permanently lost.'
