A significant Ethereum whale has made a massive exit from staking contracts after nearly five years. According to recent data, $1.29 billion worth of ETH was withdrawn from Ethereum staking and transferred to Coinbase in a single transaction.

The withdrawal is tied to Andrew Keys, co-founder of DARMA Capital and known online as @AK_EtherMachine. In May 2021, an address labeled as Andrew Keys dispersed 90,000 ETH into Ethereum's staking contracts, indicating long-term conviction in the network's proof-of-stake transition.
