Ethereum Staking Boom: Institutions Commit Nearly Half Billion

Recent data shows a significant surge in Ethereum staking activity, with Grayscale Investments and Bitmine committing nearly $500 million within a 24-hour period. This influx of institutional investment highlights growing confidence in the blockchain's staking infrastructure.

Grayscale's latest staking deposit, totaling $237 million, was executed through 32 separate transactions on Coinbase Prime. The firm has accumulated nearly $38 million in net staking rewards since activating Ethereum staking for its products in October 2025.

Bitmine Immersion Technologies now holds the top position among corporate Ethereum stakers, with a staked ETH value of approximately $8.58 billion. This represents 74% of their total Ethereum holdings and has solidified their yield-driven ETH treasury strategy.
