Ronin Network Returns to Ethereum After Four-Year Absence

Ronin Network, the gaming-focused blockchain built by Axie Infinity, is returning to Ethereum after a four-year absence. The network will reconnect on May 12, ending its standalone status.

This move comes with a redesign, where Ronin will shift into an Ethereum Layer 2 using OP Stack technology. This will allow it to rely on Ethereum for security while handling transactions separately for lower costs.
