Bitcoin Stabilizes Near $64K as Altcoin Market Sees Mixed Results
The cryptocurrency market has stabilized over the past day, with Bitcoin (BTC) trading near $64,000 after its attempted break above that level yesterday. The primary cryptocurrency had a volatile week, plummeting to $59,100 on June 4 and rebounding to nearly $64,500 before being halted by bears.
Bitcoin's market capitalization has increased to almost $1.280 trillion, with its dominance over altcoins rising to 56.4%. In contrast, XMR has dropped the most over the past day, losing 12% of its value.
Most larger-cap alts have posted minor gains, including Cardano (ADA), which is up around 3% after its recent recovery attempts. Ethereum has also inched closer to $1,700 with another minor daily increase.
