Bybit Leads the Charge in Cryptocurrency Security with AI-Driven Framework

Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has made significant strides in protecting its users from scams and frauds through its innovative security framework. The system, which utilizes AI-driven risk analysis, intercepted $300 million in impersonalization, scams, and frauds in 2025.

The framework, known as the Triple-Tier withdrawal Fraudulent Defense Framework, categorizes potential scam situations into three levels of risk. Each level triggers a different response designed to protect user withdrawals while maintaining normal trading activity on the platform.

Bybit's proprietary AI algorithms identified 350 high-risk investment fraud addresses via on-chain data, shielding 8,000 users from potential withdrawal losses. The exchange also successfully thwarted over 3 million credential stuffing attempts by hackers and auto-labeled 350 addresses, saving $1 million in imminent fraud losses.
