US Senate Urged to Pass Digital Asset Regulation Bill by Former Officials
A group of 160 ex-national security professionals have called on the US Senate to advance a key crypto legislation.
The Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, aimed at regulating digital assets, has received support from former officials who believe it would provide law enforcement with sharper tools to combat illicit activities.
The bill includes provisions for expanded Bank Secrecy Act obligations and a Treasury-led information-sharing pilot program to identify emerging risks in real-time.
