Bitcoin Faces Critical Juncture at $60,000 Support Level

Bitcoin is facing a critical juncture as it edges closer to its $60,000 support level. After a sharp market-wide selloff, prices are trading near this zone, which could either become the foundation for a rebound or the gateway to a deeper correction.

Analysts Lennaert Snyder and Kamile Uray have been closely monitoring Bitcoin's price action in June. According to Snyder, the cryptocurrency started the month by breaking below its previous monthly low, weakening its near-term technical picture. This early loss of support has reduced the likelihood of Bitcoin reclaiming higher levels in the short term.

Snyder notes that monthly clearout candles are relatively rare occurrences, which means Bitcoin's chances of recovering to prior highs are slim. However, he also observes that the recent selloff left behind considerable liquidity, creating an environment where prices could become increasingly volatile. As a result, Snyder expects periods of consolidation and choppy price action, along with occasional relief rallies.

Kamile Uray emphasizes the importance of the $60,000 level as a major support zone. According to her, a stronger buyer response here could spark a corrective rebound following the recent selloff. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) remains in oversold territory on both the daily and 4-hour timeframes, indicating that bearish momentum may be weakening.

Uray points out that long lower wicks in candles would be an encouraging sign of emerging demand at current levels. If a rebound occurs, key resistance levels to watch are $67,500, followed by the more significant $74,000–$75,000 zone. However, Uray cautions that the risk of further downside will remain until Bitcoin can establish sustained strength above $74,569.

The current market conditions present a critical test for Bitcoin as it navigates its path forward. The coming days will reveal whether this support level becomes a foundation for recovery or a catalyst for deeper decline.
