Ripple has continued its efforts to manage the supply of its RLUSD stablecoin by conducting a large burn on April 2.
The move saw nearly 40 million RLUSD tokens transferred to null addresses, effectively removing them from circulation. This action is part of Ripple's commitment to controlling the amount of RLUSD in circulation.
The process was carried out across three separate transactions on the Ethereum blockchain, with a brief token minting following the largest burn of 20 million RLUSD.
