Binance Enhances Institutional Crypto Investment with Capital Connect Upgrade

Binance has launched an updated version of its Capital Connect platform, designed to facilitate institutional investment in cryptocurrencies.

The platform is built on top of Portfolio Accounts, which allows trading teams to pool and supervise assets in one or more accounts. This infrastructure enables investors to browse portfolio information and state their interest without exposing themselves during the initial stage.

Capital Connect provides a range of features aimed at increasing transparency and reducing fragmentation in crypto asset investment. These include structured discovery, omnibus account infrastructure, track record visibility, and privacy protections.

The platform is open to eligible institutional users who have completed applicable know-your-customer (KYB) onboarding requirements. Trading teams are required to hold a valid license issued by a regulatory authority in their jurisdiction to provide investment services.
