U.S. President Donald Trump has announced plans to establish a technology advisory panel with the aim of providing expert guidance on emerging technologies. According to White House officials, the committee will comprise a mix of business leaders and industry experts who will offer insights on artificial intelligence policies, cybersecurity, and other related topics.
The committee will be co-chaired by Andrew Sacks, the President's AI and cryptocurrency advisor, and Michael Kratsios, technology advisor to the President. The first 13 industry members are expected to be appointed on Wednesday, including Google co-founder Sergey Brin and Oracle founder Larry Ellison.
