Institutional Interest in XRP Continues to Rise
A survey conducted by Coinbase in partnership with EY-Parthenon has shed light on the growing interest of institutional investors in XRP. The study, which surveyed 351 institutional investors managing assets exceeding $1 billion, found that 18% already hold XRP, while a further 25% plan to add it to their portfolios in 2026.
The survey highlights the increasing diversification of crypto portfolios among institutions, with many allocating capital across multiple assets to optimize returns and manage risk exposure. XRP's unique use case and market behavior make it an attractive complementary asset for institutional investors.
The study also found that regulatory clarity has contributed to the growing interest in XRP, as large investors demand predictable legal frameworks before deploying capital. This reduced perceived risk encourages strategic accumulation of XRP by institutions.
