Coinbase Overhauls Trading Platform in Bid for Global Crypto Liquidity

Coinbase has unveiled its 'System Update,' a major redesign of its Advanced Trading platform. The update aims to unify global crypto liquidity and move the company closer to its goal of becoming an 'Everything Exchange.'

The new features include a SEC-regulated AI investment advisor, unified global liquidity pools, and a wider set of trading products across crypto and traditional finance.

Coinbase is expanding its product base with the addition of stock and crypto options, pre-IPO perpetual futures, thematic index perpetual contracts covering sectors such as AI and defense, and tokenized stocks.
