NYSE Exchanges Ease Restrictions on Crypto Options Trading
The NYSE's move is seen as a significant step towards maturity and acceptance of crypto-related financial products in traditional markets.
Previously, the position limit was set at 25,000 contracts, but this restriction has now been lifted. The change will allow institutions to trade more freely and potentially increase liquidity in the market.
NYSE Arca and NYSE American are the two exchanges that have removed the position limit, while Nasdaq is also seeking to raise the limit for BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF to 1 million contracts.
