RippleX Accelerates Quantum Readiness for XRP Ledger

Ayo Akinyele, Head of Engineering at RippleX, highlighted the urgency surrounding the development of XRP Ledger's quantum readiness. Recent breakthroughs in quantum computing have accelerated the timeline for migration to quantum-safe cryptography.

RippleX has published a roadmap outlining their intention to be quantum ready and is engaging with development teams working on quantum-safe signature schemes. The company is also in contact with the Ethereum Foundation, which has expressed confidence in ETH's readiness.

Akinyele emphasized that this is not just a matter of patching or upgrading existing systems but rather a fundamental shift in how infrastructure operates. If XRP Ledger is compromised by quantum hardware, it will likely do so silently and without public announcement.
