Solana Blockchain Games See Resurgence with Kintara and FarmTown Leading the Charge

Solana blockchain games are gaining traction, with Kintara's monthly active users exceeding 20,000. This surge in activity marks a revival in on-chain gaming on Solana, which had previously been marginalized.

Kintara and FarmTown are driving the increased activity. Kintara launched at the end of May, featuring gameplay centered around gathering, crafting, collecting, and battling monsters. Its in-game economy is powered by the native token $KINS, which players must hold to participate. According to Dune data, the in-game market volume for Kintara has exceeded $450,000.

The project team stated that it banned over 4,000 bot accounts to reduce non-organic activity. As trading activity increases, Kintara has become one of the most watched projects in the Solana gaming sector recently.
