MoonPay, a leading crypto payments platform, has introduced the MoonAgents Card, which facilitates on-chain spending of stablecoin balances at online merchants. The card, issued by Monavate, a fully regulated entity, removes the need for pre-loading or custodial transactions before spending.
The launch highlights MoonPay's commitment to expanding blockchain use cases in everyday commerce while maintaining regulatory compliance. Ivan Soto-Wright, CEO of MoonPay, notes that agents were already managing wallets and executing trades on-chain but lacked merchant spending capabilities.
