Cardano's 'Van Rossem' Hard Fork Nears Completion Amid Exchange Support
The Cardano blockchain is nearing completion of its V11 hard fork, dubbed 'van Rossem' in honor of late community member Max van Rossem.
The upgrade has been in the works for some time and has already been successfully tested on preview and preproduction testnets.
Major exchanges Binance and Coinbase have signaled their readiness to support the hard fork once it receives final approval from the Constitutional Committee.
The 'van Rossem' upgrade will introduce new features, including cheaper smart contracts, ZK-ready cryptography, and built-in functions.
