Trump's Iran War Warning Sparks BTC Price Drop Fears
US President Donald Trump's latest Truth Social post has sparked fear of war between the US and Iran, causing investors to flee riskier assets like Bitcoin. The cryptocurrency, which had recovered from a fall from around $70,000 to nearly $82,792 in May, is now trading near $64,211.
Crypto analyst Merlijn The Trader believes that another market shakeout could send the BTC price toward the $50,000 zone before the next major rally begins. According to his analysis, Bitcoin is still moving through the final phase of its current market cycle and could see one last decline after facing resistance near $67,000.
The analyst expects the price to fall into the $45,000 to $52,000 range before reversing higher. Merlijn The Trader wrote that 'every trap has a job. Every sweep has a target. This one ends where the run begins.'
