XRP Price Surges on Mastercard and JPMorgan Partnerships: Can It Reach $6?
XRP's price has been on a rollercoaster ride in recent weeks. Following Ripple's confirmation of partnerships with Mastercard, JPMorgan, OKX, and Ondo Finance for XRP Ledger payments and tokenized Treasury settlement, the cryptocurrency saw a surge in volume and open interest, signaling fresh positioning rather than rotation.
On July 20, XRP traded at $1.0885, down 0.77%, sitting inside a compressing wedge while the MACD turns bullish on the daily chart for the first time in weeks. The converging wedge trendlines remain visible and still compressing, keeping the breakout decision alive rather than resolved.
The Fibonacci Grid Maps The Recovery Targets From The June Low shows that XRP's price is currently between the 0.236 Fibonacci at $1.0738 and the 0.382 at $1.1153 on the recovery grid drawn from the June low near $1.0069. The 20-day EMA at $1.0995 is the immediate ceiling above current price.
Analyst Xaif Crypto described the announcement as actual utility rather than speculative narrative, pointing specifically to real-time settlement of tokenized Treasuries on the XRP Ledger alongside RLUSD handling the stablecoin side. The partnership list represents a payments network, the largest US bank, a major global exchange, and a leading tokenized asset platform all committing to XRP-based infrastructure at the same time, a combination that prior recovery attempts lacked.
The $6 Monthly Chart Target: What It Requires shows that technically, Ripple's first real ATH target is just above $6. If the CLARITY Act passes, XRP could benefit just as much as Ethereum, making it one of the strongest bull market contenders.
