David Sacks, who held the title of Crypto Czar at the White House, has stepped down from his position after approximately one year. In this role, he was responsible for guiding the administration's efforts on cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence initiatives.
Sacks will be joining the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST), a committee that advises the government on scientific and technological matters. The council includes prominent figures such as Google co-founder Sergey Brin and Meta Platforms CEO Mark Zuckerberg, among others.
