HyperliquidX's Rise Threatens USDC Stablecoin Market

JPMorgan has sounded an alarm about HyperliquidX's rapid growth, warning that it could undermine Circle's dominance in the USDC stablecoin market. The decentralized perpetual exchange has accumulated over $5 billion in USDC and is using mechanisms like HYPE buybacks to align yields with its protocol.

This shift in stablecoin yield dynamics may challenge USDC's market position and prompt strategic responses from Circle, which issued a record $250 million worth of USDC on the Solana blockchain recently.
