ONDO Finance Lands Former Invesco ETF Chief in Blockchain Push

ONDO Finance has made another significant hire to bolster its onchain products. Eric Pollackov, former global head of ETF capital markets at Invesco, has joined ONDO as it continues to push traditional investment products onto blockchain.

Pollackov departed Invesco in May 2026 and brings with him expertise in a highly specialized discipline: managing the creation and redemption process of ETFs, ensuring tight spreads, coordinating with authorized participants, and navigating regulatory plumbing.

ONDO's existing product suite already includes USDY, a tokenized yield-bearing note, and OUSG, which provides exposure to US Treasuries. Both support permissionless trading and can serve as collateral in DeFi applications.

The platform has crossed a meaningful threshold, with its total value locked exceeding $1 billion, putting ONDO in rare company among real-world asset (RWA) tokenization protocols.
