Solana and XRP Soar as Crypto Market Cap Hits $4 Trillion

Solana and XRP are outperforming the broader crypto market as both assets reached new highs. Solana surged to $219.50, while XRP climbed above $3. The global crypto market capitalization briefly surpassed $4 trillion for the first time this September.

Prediction markets show growing optimism around Solana and XRP, with 54% of users expecting Solana to achieve new all-time highs before year-end and 54.7% predicting XRP will reach $4 rather than decline to $2 levels.

The expected SEC approval of Solana and XRP ETFs is driving much of the current enthusiasm among U.S. investors, who see these regulated products as a way to gain exposure without direct cryptocurrency storage or exchange navigation complexities.

According to CoinShares data, European Solana funds have maintained 21 consecutive weeks of inflows totaling $1.1 billion year-to-date, while XRP exchange-traded products in non-U.S. markets have attracted $1.2 billion in 2025 investments.
