SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce to Depart for Regent University
Regent University School of Law has announced that Hester Peirce, a prominent figure in the crypto space known as 'Crypto Mom,' will join its faculty as an associate professor in November 2026. Peirce currently serves as a commissioner at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), a position she has held since January 2018.
At Regent University School of Law, Peirce will teach courses on securities regulation, financial markets, digital assets, and public policy. Her expertise in these areas is expected to benefit students and faculty alike. With her background in law and economics, she will bring a unique perspective to the institution.
