Binance CEO: On-Chain RWA Market Surges 589% Since Early 2025

The on-chain Real-World Asset (RWA) market has seen significant growth since early 2025, according to Binance CEO Richard Teng. He revealed that this market has expanded by approximately 589% during this period.

This growth is particularly notable in the bonds and money market funds (MMF) segment, which added $6.5 billion in on-chain value. Stocks and indices also saw a substantial increase of $2.2 billion, with precious metals contributing $1.5 billion to the RWA market's expansion.

The stocks and indices segment posted the highest growth rate among major asset classes, surging 422% since early 2025. This is attributed to increasing demand for tokenized equity exposure, which offers 24/7 trading, lower barriers to entry, and integration with DeFi protocols.
