Ripple's Luxembourg License: A Regulatory Milestone for Crypto Giants
Ripple has secured a full MiCA license in Luxembourg, allowing it to offer regulated crypto services across the European Economic Area.
The approval comes after the company's preliminary Crypto-Asset Service Provider authorization was upgraded on July 6. This means Ripple can now passport regulated crypto services across all 30 countries of the EEA under a single national authorization.
Cassie Craddock, Ripple's managing director for the UK and Europe, said the company enters the post-transitional MiCA era fully compliant and ready to scale.
Ripple's global license count now exceeds 75 authorizations, registrations, and approvals. This includes licenses in Singapore, Dubai, New York's BitLicense regime, and now the heart of the EU.
