Trump Rakes in Over $1 Billion from Cryptocurrency Deals
US President Donald Trump has made over $1 billion from cryptocurrency dealings in his first year back in office, according to his mandatory financial report for 2025. The report reveals that he earned $635 million in royalties from a Trump meme coin launched three days before taking office.
The Trump meme coin's value has plummeted since its launch, but the president still managed to rake in millions from it.
In addition to the meme coin earnings, Trump also reported over $500 million in income from World Liberty Financial, a cryptocurrency firm founded by his sons and the children of his special envoy Steve Witkoff.
The White House has repeatedly denied any conflict of interest, with deputy press secretary Anna Kelly stating that 'Neither the President nor his family has ever engaged - or will ever engage - in conflicts of interest.'
