Interactive Brokers Expands Crypto Services with Stablecoin Withdrawals and New Token Additions
Interactive Brokers has expanded its digital asset services by adding stablecoin withdrawals and nine new crypto tokens to its platform. The brokerage now allows clients to withdraw USDC, PayPal USD, and Ripple USD, enabling them to convert and transfer funds to external wallets. This move integrates digital assets more closely with clients' broader financial activities, providing 24/7 stablecoin funding and withdrawals.
The company has also added nine new crypto tokens to its platform, bringing the total number of available assets to 20. These additions include Aave, Aptos, and Uniswap, which will be available for trading alongside other existing cryptocurrencies. The expansion aims to provide clients with more options for diversifying their portfolios.
However, it is worth noting that these features are not available to clients of Interactive Brokers' UK and Irish entities. This limitation may be due to regulatory differences or other factors specific to those regions.
