Institutional Money Slowly Finds Its Way into Bitcoin Market
Adam Back, CEO of Blockstream and a prominent figure in the bitcoin community, has weighed in on the current state of institutional adoption. According to him, investors don't just pile in overnight, and it takes time for fund managers to adjust their portfolios.
In an interview with Coindesk, Back emphasized that the arrival of ETFs is a significant development, but one that won't lead to immediate price increases. Instead, he expects a gradual build-up of demand over several months or even years.
Back's comments come as investors and analysts continue to debate the impact of institutional adoption on bitcoin prices. While some predict a rapid influx of capital, others believe it will take time for institutions to adjust their strategies and for the market to respond.
