Meta Expands Stablecoin Payments to Select Creators

Meta has expanded its services by offering stablecoin payment features to select creators in Colombia and the Philippines.

The new feature, which allows creators to receive USDC on the Solana and Polygon networks, requires them to link a third-party crypto wallet address to the Facebook payment platform.

This development marks Meta's first re-engagement with stablecoin payments since the shutdown of the Libra project in 2022.
