Stablecoin Transaction Volume Hits Record $1.79 Trillion in June
Stablecoin transaction volume has reached a new record high of $1.79 trillion in June, surpassing May's total by 63%. According to Visa's stablecoin analytics dashboard, which uses Allium data, this marks the highest monthly level recorded so far. The figure is also significantly higher than February 2026's previous record of $1.78 trillion.
On an annual basis, stablecoin transaction volume has risen by a substantial 125%. This growth indicates that dollar-pegged crypto assets are becoming increasingly used in various applications, including payments, DeFi activity, and cross-border transfers.
Visa's on-chain analytics dashboard reported $1.79 trillion in adjusted stablecoin transaction volume for June. The dashboard filters out inorganic activity, such as bot-driven transfers and wash transactions, to provide a clearer view of real user and institutional activity.
